To deliver professional meticulous, relaxing, and exemplary nail care to all members/ guests, providing the finest in member /guest service available.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, this team member will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other employees, members, or guests. Valid cosmetology or Hair Technician license with minimum 1 year experience with Blowouts and Haircuts. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize client appointments in a fast-paced environment. Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with retail sales of hair care products which receive a 10% commission.

• Upsell additional services and treatments to clients.

• Arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled shift and stop by the front desk to check in.

• Perform Opening & Closing procedures as instructed.

• Maintain professionalism, grace, and dignity always.

• Greet members/guests on time with proper salutation and a smile.

• Use the members /guest’s name at least twice during interaction.

• Refrain from discussing company or personal business with member/guest.

• Conducts 45, 50 and 80-minute nail services, complete with massage and appropriate product application.

• Perform nail services as listed on the brochure following proper safety and sanitation guidelines, while delivering exceptional member / guest service.

• Conduct all treatments according to treatment guidelines while following given policies and procedures for The Spa and Salon at Mizner Country Club.

• Assess and accommodate guest’s needs: inquiring about physical well-being and perform appropriate service.

• Desire, ability, and commitment to educate and sell products to members and guests.

• Does not prescribe, diagnose, or suggest ailments.

• Does not solicit personal clients, house call or the selling of personal products.

• Maintain availability and dedication to The Spa and Salon at Mizner Country Club, being available to work as needed including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

• Escort guests as needed to the locker areas or next appointment.

• Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, product knowledge classes and team effort.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Know your schedule and check the computer (spa soft) regularly for changes or added appointments.

• Pick up all clients on time and finish scheduled appointments in the time frame allotted for the service.

• Abide by all Florida State Board guidelines.

• Comply will all Mizner policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• The Job requires you to be on your feet and for long periods of time.

• Valid Florida State Cosmetology License.

• Service oriented – able to pamper, accommodate and anticipate all members /guests needs.

• Clean, organized and detail oriented.

• Committed to the State Cosmetology rules and regulations for nail care and related services.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Current CPR certification preferred

• Minimum of 2 years nail care experience

• Valid Florida State Cosmetology License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The Job requires you to be on your feet and for long periods of time.

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Able to stand for a long period of time (up to average 8-hour shifts)

• Frequent bending, pushing, piling, and kneeling.

• Frequent walking

• Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, stoop and knell when assisting Members with their needs.
